Day trip to Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor like a shining pearl necklace attracts tourists all over the world, of course include me, to visit the famous harbor of the Second World War.

On morning, as early as we can, my partner and I took the bus to the Pearl Harbor. As soon as I walked into the harbor, facing the Arizona memorial lying peacefully near the bank, listening to the audio tour explaining the heartbroken history, the miserable history opened up to me step by step. With other tourists stepping into the Arizona memorial by navy’s ship, we were all shocked by the list of the dead young navy’s name. The Arizona wreckage, which more than one thousand heroes in it, lies quietly besides the memorial, telling the world unforgettable, miserable regretless story.

Standing on the board of uss Missouri, watching the Arizona, I think the paradise visits it while clouds around it. Every hero lives in the paradise and also lives in our memory like shining pearl.

Now, we may forget the war, mourn the dead, understand the tragedy, honour the heroes.
